Logos 4.3 beta 2, indexer crashes

I installed the newest beta version, 4.3 beta 2 (4.30.0.0208) a couple of days ago. Today there was a big download of revised resources, in my case about 150 MB of stuff. Since that download the indexer has crashed repeatedly. I've never had this happen before. I rebooted the computer, and ran Logos alone, with no other programs loaded. It still crashes. This computer is running a fully patched version of Windows XP. Any suggestions?

This problem has already been reported. The following wiki articles should help you as a beta tester:-
EDIT: as a beta tester please report problems in the PC Beta forum

Same problem here. I am running Vista and just downloaded the new resources that came out and all of a sudden my indexer keeps crashing - never happened before. Before I try rebuilding the index i would like to know if there is another way that won't take as long.

Same problem here. Two resources were updated, but indexer crashes. So, where do we go from here?

I am running Logos 4.2a sr-3 (4.21.5.0932) . This is not the beta if I am not mistaken. I have only been downloading the versions that come out that are automatic which are the release versions. If this is correct then this is not a beta issue for me but a problem with the download itself. Please advise.

Just had a resource download of 105 or so megbytes. When index started it crashed. Running Win7 64bit. I will have to send logs later.

Further logs are not needed. Just watch this thread for comments/fix from Logos.

Correct (we assume this when you report in the Logos 4 Forum as opposed to the PC Beta Forum).

http://wiki.logos.com/Windows_Troubleshooting should answer your question in general ie. you could upload a crash log but otherwise wait for Logos to respond.

One thing that worked to keep Logos going without a crash was to right-click the indexer icon the second it appeared...and choose "pause indexing for 4 hours" and then Logos launched fine.
