4.2a SR-4 (4.21.5.0947)
My system was just updated to 4.2a SR-4 (4.21.5.0947). Have anyone seen the release notes.
Thanks!
Note: may be my imagination, but performance appears to be better with this update (over the decent performance I was already getting with SR-3...)

I see nothing on the release notes and there doesn't appear to be a PC version update in tandem. Mine just updated as well. I'm guessing it's fixes but any improvement is always welcome. [Y]

Much as I enjoy LOGOS 4, I must say it would be nice to be able simply to open the resource on my computer and start using it without having to have it bogged down by constant updates and often the need for indexing resources again.

In preferences, you can easily adjust updating. Set it for down times, so it doesn't interfere with your work. It'll do it's updating and indexing when you aren't using the computer.
As for constant updates, I love it. I'm glad that these folks are constantly attempting to improve content and the engine! (just, umm, task it for down times - so it doesn't interrupt you)

PS - release notes are still missing

This update is odd in that the download dmg does not appear to be updated either. That's real strange. What's up with that? [*-)]

Thankful for Logos Bible Software 4.2a SR-4 (4.21.5.0947) update.
Also wondering about release notes or forum update about service release.
Keep Smiling [:)]

If you go to your homepage, look where it shows the update and click on more.. it will take you the the Wiki page that describes the update. This does not address the forum issue, but gets you and explanation of the update.

I admit to hardly every going to my homepage for anything. Maybe that is why I don't have a clue about where to look on my homepage to find where the update shows up. The customizing I've done is: 1. All "Features" are turned off. 2. In "Content" the "Devotionals" and "Excerpts" are turned off.

That's the usual, yup.
This time it's not showing up in our Home pages nor is this update identified in the Logos wiki yet:

Time will tell...
thanks

Don't you already have it? I received SR-4 several days ago.

There will be an official 4.2a SR-4 release later today to fix a bug that caused the indexing to fail after a recent resource update. The previous SR-4 download (for Mac only) was inadvertent, hence no release notes.
