Clippings Font Sizes and Multiple Instances

Is there any way to specify the font size within clippings to a default value? When I add clippings, they are not the same size as the source material, but much smaller. The only way I've found to do it is to manually go in and change the font size of each clipping. 

 

While I'm asking, how do I open two instances of the same resource? For example, I might want an NIV opened to Romans and another opened to Genesis.

    Thanks Mike! Any idea on how to set a default font size for clippings? Is it not possible?

     AFAIK, no there isn't.

     It sounds like you may have the font size enlarged in your resources only (Tools → program settings → Default text size).  In order to change everything throughout the program, which I believe should include the font in clippings you would use tools → program settings → program scaling.    Give that a test and see if it renders the desired results.

    I have the same question about Notes. Every time I copy and paste something into a note, I have to change the font and the size afterwards. Very irritating. Cmd-opt-shift-v that I use to paste in the correct size here on the forums, and some other places/programs, doesn't seem to work; nor does anything else I've tried; and I can't find anything in the Wiki.

    But don't spend too much time looking for it - it ain't  there. The only way to make the whole program bigger is to use the system zoom.

    This is a Mac thread. Mac doesn't have program scaling yet. [;)]

    Historical observation: couple Mac Alpha pre-releases did have program scaling.  Mac Troubleshooting page has Program Scaling with links about Mac program scaling along with steps to set program scaling to 100 %.  Also includes Mac links for display zoom options.  Other than a few menus, program scaling usable in Logos 4 Mac ; looking forward to general text zooming in Logos 4 Mac.

    Hmm, that's strange fgh. The default notes font only changes what text is actually noted on, not the note itself. As far as I can tell, we are both stuck with this really strange and unintuitive behavior. I can't see any way to fix it.

    Hi, I ran into same problem when translating NA27 and BHS with clippings. I don't mind the small font size of the copy paste, but it would be cool the be able to change default font size (and type) for own notes/clipping markings. IMO everything should be customizable.

    I too have this problem. Just switched to the MAC version of Logos 4. The Program scaling effects books/resources, but has no zoom effect on default Clipping font size or Clipping in general. It's painfully small. Changing the system default font size to something larger, then creating new Clippings, had no effect either.

    Anyone from Logos have any idea on if/when this fix will be implemented?

    For those of us that use Clippings for study or sermon prep - it slows down workflow immensley (having to highlight text and change font size) and really limits use.

    Apologies: as a Logos user, personally not know when for stable Logos 4.5 release.  Current Logos 4.5 Beta 10 has a Font Slider for Clippings:
