in watching the video for this it says to find all comentaries you put in type: commentaries mine dosent show this function my books just say the title and author no type or publisher.
don't put a space after the colon

Wiki also has Example Collections whose rules can be copied and pasted into Library to see list of titles.
My personal "Commentary OR Notes" collection uses => type:commentary OR type:notes
Edit: simplified collection rule => type:(commentary,notes)

To get the column heading Type right or two finger click in the column heading bar and select Type.
To display all resources of a certain Type put type:whatevertype in the search bar. Eg type:commentary or type:dictionary.
Eg type:commentary or type:dictionary.
Just to note that type:Dictionary will product English Dictionaries while type:Encyclopedia will yield Bible Dictionaries.
