Been there done that and still can't repeat

I thought I'd change my avatar to a picture of myself that revealed gender ... a college picture admittedly but still me. Unfortunately, I can't get the change avatar to work. It takes me to my profile page which has the change but doesn't offer the select file option. I checked the wiki but ,,,

l tried the same thing a week or two ago and had the same response. Apparently you need to leave the forums for it to take effect. Just a guess - after I saw that it worked, I stopped trying to figure it out.

I'd tried that ... but I see that after I tortured my cat my new avatar did appear. [Cat torture in the form of subcutaneous fluid and pills was prescribed by the vet. No need to call the SPCA.)

It's interesting now that two have had problems with changing avatars. I've never had that problem, but I have the T-shirt !

Yes, I have a grandson only a year younger than I was when this picture was taken. But I had a priest who did not like the term "aging" - he claimed we were clearly youthening to be born in our final/true life.[;)]
