$20 for 15 volumes, and iPad/iPhone users can read it at our convenience!

at $1.33 a volume, what a bargain!
I'm in already.
That link you provided is to the 3rd page of CP items which this item appears on (but that could change as things move around).

Thanks, Rosie!
I was planning to tell you that I was in already, but at a lower price, since, unfortunately, there was only really one book on Israel. and then the rest were just lots of stuff on Babylon that didn't interest me at all -- but I find my memory deceived me on this one (must have mixed it up with Jastrow). While there is still too much weight on Egypt and the East for my taste, there was more than one book on Israel. And those Medieval chronicles definitely interest me. I had forgotten all about them. So you'll be happy to learn I upped by bid. [:D]
I also liked the title of A Brief Pilgrimage in the Holy Land. Seems that a hundred years ago a "brief" pilgrimage lasted a year. [:D] Not like today's tourists who rush around like scolded rats and don't really have time to see anything. I wish I could afford a year in Jerusalem!
I am in [Y]

I spent 10 months in Israel, mainly Jerusalem, as a volunteer. The magic wore off after 6 weeks, but it was still a valuable experience. I never became fluent in Ivrit (modern Hebrew), but it did enable me to read from the OT in Hebrew quickly enough for the time spent on it not to be counterproductive. I worshipped at the Hebrew speaking Catholic church, where most of the Israeli members, if not all, were first generation Christians. Many of them had been through concentration camps.

I planned to, but I never got there. [:(] Next time, hopefully. They actually have a Hebrew Catholic woman there now who still worships in an Orthodox Jewish synagogue as well -- and they're fine with it, in spite of knowing she's baptized! A Swedish nun had a sabbatical in Jerusalem a few years back, and this woman took her with her to celebrate Simchat Torah there.
When I was young, I wanted to go off to a kibbutz, but unfortunately I never did. Would have been very useful when I started theology! Instead it took most of my life until I finally went there, even as a tourist.

I'm like the presumed target of the used car salesman on the local channel when I was a kid (Ed Clark the used car king) who always said, "You want it for less? Snijd !" I want it for less. I'll bid $15.00 -- $1.00 per book.
Fine, just get lots of others to come in at $15 to get the price down - I won't complain [;)]
Bump...

This book alone is $20.

Took a while - but here we are with just over 25 hours to go and the price is indeed $15 for 15 books giving a historic perspective of what the Bible Lands were like for centuries until relatively recent instabilities.
Time for people to give up on the hope that they will get it if they bid $10 and be prepared to commit the extra $5 (still only a dollar a book). If enough new bidders join us at the last minute it MIGHT go down to $10, but that is only an outside chance and it can be secured for a $15 bid this evening or early tomorrow ONLY. [:)]

Now wouldn't it be interesting for the whole set of 15 to go for $10.
Certainly possible with enough new bidders. Last chance - this closes in just over 16 hours... [:)]
Those were the days, when a year abroad was considered a 'brief' pilgrimage!
The one I want is Early Travels in Palestine:
