The pricing for the ISBE is very good. Of the Bible Dictionaries currently available in Logos this is second behind AYBD. The New Interpreter's on pre-pub would probably bump it back one notch but that isn't available yet. These works have differing viewpoints but both are valuable.
If anyone has been interested this might be the time to jump.
I was thrilled to see the ISBE with a good sale price. It was one of the items that I had asked for sale pricing for Black Friday.
I'm glad you guys mention when the newswire is sent--because I never get it anymore, and I wouldn't know what I'm missing.

As far as I can remember, but I've had it for a long time so haven't paid attention to whether there's been another sale on it. If it has been on sale before it certainly hasn't been often.
Regardless, it is a good price and instead of waiting for a better price you'll get to use it all that time.

I already have this (1979–1995) ISBE.
I wish this one was on sale too for $30 off: International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, 1915 Edition so I can begin my "posterity collection." I tried the coupon code on checkout but, of course, it did not apply to this resource. I guess I will have to wait until they bundle it with Thayer's Lexicon. I do see a value of owning both ISBE versions.
$99.95 is the best price I have seen.
$119.95 was the previous best. It doesn't seem to be offered at big discounts.

I have long been signed up for newswire, but I haven't received it in quite a while. It is still checked in my account. Wonder what's wrong?

I also signed up for everything in the Notifications tab a long time back. I just checked my page out of curiosity and there were only a few of them checked. Funny thing is "Newswire" was not checked but I did get the April Newswire email with the ISBE sale.
I just checked every box again and returned the confirmation email. The website is not registering my changes. [:@]
edit: My "Notifications" page has finally updated all the check boxes (about an hour after initial changes were made.) Be aware the Feedburner subscriptions are apparently a separate confirmation process from the "Notifications emails" confirmation. And Yes, they both require confirmation to subscribe.

You are not alone Michael. The last newswire I received was in December.
I assume everyone has checked their spam folders? Also, many ISPs are now catching spam on their servers, you may have to use web access to your on-server folders to check spam being caught there (I know that is the case with Comcast who I use). Maybe try adding the newswire email address to your contacts/address book, it is sent from (newswire@lrsmail.com).
