BUG: 4.2a SR-5 Freeze on startup

This may be the same as other reported bugs with SR-5, but could not be sure. Clicked the L4 icon in the doc, and nothing visible ever happened. Activity Monitor says L4 non-responsive. L4 Log says waiting for Indexer to exit. Indexer Log says "Shutting Down". Looks like L4 never gets the exit message.

Restart L4 worked normally.

After months of good progress, L4 Mac seems to have taken a turn for the worse. 4.3 Beta 2 refused to recognize my login info, which is supposed to be fixed in Beta 3. The stable version, SR-4 & SR-5, seem plagued with random freezes on startup and when running in the background.

I'm just wondering if there's another issue other than SR-5 that is causing the problems some are having. I did the update twice - once on my internal and once on a bootable backup clone - without any problems.

Observation: Logos4.log file has more lines than those posted in New Updates and Logos won't launch! , appears some resources waiting to download.

Appears Logos 4 Mac users that installed Stable Candidate early release on Tuesday are OK (updated from Logos 4.2a SR-4 to Logos 4.2a SR-5); however, several Logos 4 Mac users have puzzling (perplexing) Logos 4.3 Beta 1 installations (couple sets of posted logs show Logos 4.2a SR-4 in Indexer.log with Logos 4.3 Beta 1 in Logos4.log file). Wondering if Logos 4.3 Beta 1 disk image was linked OR copied OR cached file pointer corruption so yesterday's stable update for Logos 4.2a SR-4 downloaded Logos 4.3 Beta 1 instead of Logos 4.2a SR-5 for awhile ? (ouch time for several Logos 4 Mac stable users, a human reason to not smile).

Apologies for ouch time: once Logos 4.3 Beta 1 launched, now have couple options: compete reinstall of Logos 4 Mac to return to current Stable release OR wait for Logos 4.3 Beta 3 so can join development cycle (caution: Beta bugginess is not for everyone).

I did install that early release.So far, this freeze is the only problem I have encountered.
