I'm trying to add an avatar.

I upload the new picture and it shows up in my profile, but when I click the "save" button, it reports "Page Not Found".

Afterwards, the avatar remains in my profile every time I go to it, but the avatar never appears in any of my posts.

Depending on when you added it (time ago) you may be experiencing a caching delay.

Go back to your profile page and hit F5 to refresh, just to make sure it's been loaded and you're not just seeing a browser cache. Assuming your avatar is still there, it should show up once the forums refresh their cache (whenever that is) If after a day you're not seeing anything, contact Dave Ladiges whom I believe is the forum admin.

You can leave a comment on David Ladiges forum profile and he'll get it.

I had the same problem with the avatar appearing in the profile but not the forum. Mine took about 2 days, having done what Thomas recommended (f5), and it eventually showed.
