Fix for 4.2a SR-5 Update Issue

If you experienced an update issue last night upgrading from 4.2a SR-4 to 4.2a SR-5 and are in a non-working state, here are some steps to take which should get you up and running again.
Download 4.2a SR-5 from: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LBS4MacInstaller/4.21.5.0959/Logos4Mac.dmg
Copy the application bundle to your applications folder.
Open Finder -> Select "Go" from the menu bar -> Select "Go to Folder" (Shift + Command + G) -> Enter in "~/.mono"
Delete or Move to trash the "registry" folder.
Open Logos 4 Mac, and everything should start working again.
If this does not fix the issue for you, please post your logs here and we will do our best to help you out. Sorry for your troubles.

Went ahead and followed the instructions. It signs me in but after that there is nothing but the Logos menu bar up top. Try to go to Home or Library and nothing happens. Any other ideas? Thanks

After looking at your logs it appears you'll want to shut down the app, delete '/Users/lincolnbroadbooks/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/xmbzbxad.ipz/CopyBibleVerses/CopyBibleVerses.db', and restart the application.
If that doesn't work, please post your logs again and I will continue investigating.
Thanks!

I followed the instructions you posted at 10.10. I got signed in but after that there is nothing but the Logos menu bar up top. Try to go to Home or Library and nothing happens.

I also followed the instructions that you posted for Lincoln Broadbooks, except in my name obviously, but I'm still only getting signed in for about two seconds. The Logos menu bar is at the top of the page, but I'm not able to get into anything. Thank you

After looking at your logs, please quit Logos 4 Mac, delete '/Users/aziz/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/rbhk2kl4.1zw/CopyBibleVerses/CopyBibleVerses.db ', then start Logos 4 Mac.
Keep Smiling [:)].

What to mean by "copying the application bundle to your applications folder"?

The Logos icon that represents L4 is more than a single application. It is actually a folder containing several resources that make up Logos 4 Mac. What he means is copy that Logos application icon into your Applications folder.
