Logos Forums Brothers and Sisters,

I don't often go on FaceBook.  Seems that there's just not enough time to do everything, eh?  However, last evening I took a quick peek at Logos' FaceBook pages and came across this Gorgeous screen shot posted by -- I Don't Have A Clue.  To you, whoever you are, I thank you for posting it.  Spent a bit of time studying and smiling and appreciating not only Logos -- but also God's Word -- and also the King James Version.

*smile*

Since I enjoyed it so much, I thought I would post it also on the Forums so others could benefit and -- hopefully! -- rejoice!

Romans 15.13

Philippians 4:  4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

    That is Great Milford!

i tried to recreate this on my Logos 4,

    image

    1.  In the passage box, enter Psalms. (please be patient, you will see the spinning pizza for many seconds, because Logos 4 is searching all 150 Psalms).

    2.  Then in the word box, enter God is and press enter.

    Thanks Milford

    Thanks, Thomas!

Our Gracious God has done a very good job on you!          *smile*

You serve Him well and care for His People!              Bless you and your family!

Yes, I did happen to know that and I did that Passage Analysis on my own Logos 4 and took the screen shot from there!

                               Incredible, eh?

You NOW, however, have improved my post with your posting that link so brothers and sisters can experience on their own Logos4 -- much, much better than a screen shot.  Should have thought of it myself, but didn't.  Thank you much!

    Thanks, Steve!

Good post!  *smile*  You are a good "teacher" amongst a whole bunch of other good things!

Just wanted to say thanks also to you for your ESVSB Charts and Notes links.  Because of you and Rick and Thomas, these now reside - not only in my notes - but also in my Favourites.

                                          Peace!

Also, I want to reiterate -- Some lovely Anonymous Person was the one who first shared this, not me!               *smile*

I'd fogotten this tool existed; thanks for the reminder--it is interesting; this particular example brings to mind S.M. Lochridge's famous sermon.

In playing with it I've been unable to search across a single book of the bible with preciseness--I can't figure out how to specify a range if it doesn't automatically have one from the drop-down in the reference range.  I searched the Wiki, but couldn't find that info.   How would I do a single passage analysis for Gen-Deut?

    Peace to you, Ward!

Thanks for that YouTube link!                  Enjoyed it!              *smile*

However, I can't specify a range either.  I can put "Psalms" in there, but cannot do Genesis - Deuteronomy.  Am going to check the Wiki again; but, meanwhile, maybe some nice brother or sister could assist with this????????????

Just studied the Wiki and also watched the Word Tree video and still cannot figure it out.

Is it possible to do  what Ward is looking for?

I entered <Gen-Deut> and it gave me Genesis 1-Numbers 9.  Then I entered God said in the text box.  Try it, its really nice.

    Hi Jerry                      *smile*

I can get the same results.  Is it not possible to get Genesis - Deuteronomy?

I guess Logos has built in limits.  In the New Testament it would go from Matthew to John, but wouldn't include all of Acts.

              You're probably right, Jerry!

Wish I knew my limits!          *smile*
