All I can say is that this page says 2nd quarter of this year. But these dates have been pushed back several times already.

for the purpose of collecting illustrations, I find Clippings to be a perfect substitute, if not better solution. Especially if Sermon Add-on is a paid feature, I don't see a reason to spend the money. It could be adapted for sermons as well, especially if it could be filtered by author/date/location.
