Passage List

Can anyone tell me if Logos 4 has the ability to add one verse at a time to the passage list or say from the power look up tool and how to do that? I have been a user for years but never played with this feature. And is there a way to limit the power look up to just show the verses that appear in the reference box of the NTSK Thanks

Right-click on a reference in the Power Lookup tool, make sure the reference and select Copy from the left side of the context menu that comes up, then paste into the Reference box in the Passage List.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but if you have the NTSK open in a tab, and it's the active tab (click on it to be sure) and the Power Lookup tool is open and set to Follow the active tab, then it should display the verses that are referenced in the NTSK. The verses that appear in the reference box of the NTSK as you scroll through it, though, should be every single verse in the Bible. So I'm not quite understanding what you'd want the Power Lookup tool to show.

I am not in my study right now with Logos on it....could you give a visual picture on here? Thanks.

Here you go (and I edited my previous response to answer the rest of your questions which I'd missed the first time).

Michael,
Power Look Up has no option to restrict its output to the verse range in the NTSK reference box, sorry.
As Rosie pointed out adding to a Passage Guide is a somewhat manual process. You do not have to type the references in, however. You can select a reference (or references) in Power Look Up, right click, and choose copy. Then in your open Passage List hit the arrow next to the Add box and choose clipboard. It will paste whatever references you put on the clipboard into your Passage List.

Thanks, Rosie. What I have noticed is that the power look up tool with show the verses that are shown in the NTSK, even if it is not the verse I am looking. For example, if I am studying John 14:19, The NTSK will show cross reference verses for verses 19, 20, 21, 22, etc. you get the idea. Is there a way to limited the power look up tool to just display verses for John 14:19 when that is the verse in the referenced box. If I am looking up cross references for John 14:19, I do not want to see verses for 20, 21, 22, etc. Did I explain myself right? Thanks.

If your passage list is open you can right click on a Bible reference in the power lookup and select Bible on the right side and your passage list on the left and it will enter it in your passage list. The process is the same in your Bible. Right click in your Bible and choose reference on the right and your passage list on the left and it will add it. This only applies to references in the power lookup tool not to links. Those you must copy and paste.

Ah, now I see. Thank you for the clarification.
If you select the paragraph in NTSK that lists all the cross-references for John 14:19, the Power Lookup tool will only show those cross references that are within your selection. I can't demonstrate it very well with a screenshot of John 14:19 since there are so many cross-references in it, but here's a later verse to show that the PL tool will limit the xrefs to just what is selected in the NTSK:
