How do I show or find a map of the modern world eg. Israel, Syria, Egypt and the same map of the ancient world so that people know where it is today?

Thanks

I would first decide what I meant by 'ancient world' the changes between Moses' time and Jesus' are pretty dramatic.

The rather than trying a search in 'Biblical Places' I would open my library and have a look at the table of contents for resources with 'Atlas' int he title.

You might have to try Google for your modern day map.

In many of the maps in "Biblical Places" you will find a Google Maps icon that you can click on to take you to that exact location on a current map.

    • Find the city or feature you're interested in within a given map by pressing Ctrl+F and typing the name in the Find box (1) then pressing Enter.
    • The map will zoom in to center on that location (2)
    • You'll see the latitude and longitude coordinates in the upper right corner and a Google "G" icon which you can click on (3)
