Dear Logos,

I am in the process of downloading my upgrade to Logos IV.  HOwever, since I am not an ATT customer, I do not have, nor do I want to go purchase an I Phone.  Last I checked, us BLackberry users greatly outnumbered I Phone'rs.  At pastors conferences I see a lot of blackberry's, and I cannot remember someone with an I Phone.

Are you planning to respond to the large group of Blackberry users out there?  Since Blackberrries are available through every carrier, and have been around for a longer time, I think you would be wise to respond to such.

We're working on mobile solutions for platforms beyond the iPhone. While BlackBerry is strong, it does have more different versions, screen sizes, etc. which make it slightly more difficult to develop for. But we're looking to have some type of functionality for as many mobile devices as possible.

Making m.logos.com be something other than an iphone advertisement would work for lots of devices.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I would be intrested in what other OS you are looking at.  I am a use of a Palm TX, but maybe you consider that a dead platform and not worth your time.

    Richard,

They're currently doing a survey on Windows Mobile, I'd wager it's next in line.

It would be helpful to know which OS they are going to do.  I guess I am also a little fuzzy on what can be done on the PDA.  I use my PDA a lot.  Have used Olive Tree for years.  There are a few commentaries, Greek and Hebrew tools, ect.  What would make me really happy is to have my Bible study to be able to be on both my PDA and computer.  If I make notes on my PDA they sync to my computer.  I could select what resources and/or functions on my PDA and this option would be more of an issue of the amount of memory on my PDA.  Almost a Docs to Go type of thing for my Bible study.  Is this what we have?  If so I am willing to buy an iTouch.

Yes, it sync your Library and basically allows you to use all your books (many of them still need to get permission from the publisher) and your favorites, reading plans and other things are synchronized with the one or 2 computers (as many as you use). Isn't that cool?

    Yep, that is cool.

You noted that permissions were needed.  Is this a thing Logos does and there is no cost to us, or do we have to pay for the book a second time?

Also, one of the short coming of iTouch is no expandable memory.  Good reason to do it on a difference OS.
