Note Highlighting

I think I was given this answer before but sadly I forgot.
When I highlight a verse to make a note (not to actually highlight) once the note is finished it will highlight the verse with the note. I don't want the note feature to highlight the verse because I want to highlight with my on system.
For instance, I have some sermon notes and the color of the box next to the verse is blue indicating that there is a note and of course the color of the box helps me to know what type of note it is. But for some reason it also highlights the verse the same color.
Can someone remind me how to turn that off?

If you choose "Selection" from the right-click menu, the text you have selected will be highlighted and the note will only be attached to that particular resource. If you select "Reference" the note icon will appear next to the verse (or pericope heading) in all Bibles and Commentaries, and your selection will not be highlighted.

Wonder about clicking in resource or highlighting something else ? (only applies for "Reference" notes)
Edit: Thanks to Jack, learned "selection" is highlighted with note color:

Using Logos 4.3 Beta 5 on PC, noticed verse highlighting disappears after Note box appears (for "ReferenceR) when followed by a click in resource (or highlight something else).
Edit: Logos user voice (currently # 3) => http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1619077-rework-notes-function-in-one-or-multiple-phases?ref=title includes: "• allow user selection of highlight style to indicate attached note/selected text - include suppressing highlighting or show only on mouse over"

Thanks for the help KS4J and Jack.
Jack, what you mentioned is what I forgot. I have been using another product for some time due to the notes issues but I have been using L4 more lately. Thanks for reminding me!

Hopefully, Logos will resolve this before much longer. Bob Pritchett has hinted at changes in the Notes system.
