PBB Update?

Bob, is PBB to be a Windows only feature or has Logos addressed the fatal shortcomings of MS Word for Mac?
PBB will be a cross-platform feature, available on both Macintosh and Windows.
It's possible we may be able to make sense of Hebrew and Logos 4 links encoded in Word for Mac documents, even though Word itself can't render them correctly. Or, it's possible that the "fatal shortcomings" of Word for Mac documents are so great that we cannot work around them. As far as I know, this has not yet been tested.
If this glaring failure has not been tested, how can you certify that PBB will be cross-platform? Does this mean that Logos has blindly pushed ahead with this important feature without even testing the supposed solution?

Jack, from an IT point of view this problem is obviously solvable. Logos doesn't need to test or know which solution they will take to commit to achieving it. "Fatal shortcoming" is a gross overstatement - the problem isn't even interesting to solve - it's too easy.

I thought of several things to say to this but decided not to take the bait. I will let you find someone else.

Sorry Jack, I didn't mean it to be bait. I was speaking from a lifetime of experience in IT ... in the latter half there were fewer and fewer interesting problems because one recognized the pattern behind the solution very quickly. One has to entertain oneself with elegance or efficiency to avoid boredom. But I see that Bradley gave you a good answer on a different thread.
