SUGGESTION: outdo BibleWorks or way to go eCatena or don't forget the Early Church Fathers Additions
A post in another thread brought this to mind.
The eCatena project is a feature that would be great to have in Logos - preferably covering all patristic texts carried by Logos. And, of course, unless I get them done as PBB's first, Pearse's Early Church Fathers - Additions ought to be available in Logos.

How would you say the eCatena is an advance over a simple search for references in Logos? I guess there are some kinds of situations where a verse-by-verse scripture index is more convenient for browsing, but judging from its limited scope and what's written at the top about his methodology, I think a Logos search gives better results. (For instance, Logos catches references no matter how they are abbreviated.)
As for Pearse's stuff, we do at least have some of the major works coming up on Community Pricing. The Works of Cyril of Alexandria is the first of these.

I like eCatena simply for a quick overview but will readily admit that a Logos search is more thorough and is easier for getting a full context.

I am very please with the way Logos is broadening their rabbinic and earch church fathers offerings. What I like about Pearse is that much of it is in the same tone as the ANF etc. so it "fits in" as an extension. I also like it 'cause it is cheap - but cheap might well increase the number of people who would be interested in extending their base package.. However, the lack of Syriac & Coptic notes is a big problem and I really would prefer a nice set of modern translations. With the PBB's I'll be able to have the best of both worlds.
