When indexing, Logos 4.2b SR-1 keeps having an error with a message

This has happened to me a few times when I've
restarted my laptop where logos 4 will be indexing and then all of a
sudden a window pops open and says, "Logos Bible
Software 4 Indexer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were
in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be
lost." I get the same message when enter "update now" into the command
box.

Can anyone help me fix this so it can index new books and revisions?

We need to see some logs (crash log + indexer log) to help diagnose the problem. Please see http://wiki.logos.com/Windows_Troubleshooting

Note that it is better to let indexing proceed without shutting down your laptop!

The CRC error is quite sinister - please perform a hard disk check. If this is difficult for you I would suggest you contact Logos Technical Support who can interact with your computer.

Are there directions somewhere for this, or a link to the interaction with Logos Tech Support? I didn't a little searching on the forums, but couldn't find anything, but that's probably because I wasn't hitting on the right key words.

For help from the support staff here at Logos it is best to call them (though you can e-mail as well.)

Customer Support is available Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm Pacific Time at 1-800-875-6467. Speaking to someone in real time is generally the most efficient way to resolve any technical issues you are having with the program.

I ran chkdsk /r from the command prompt and it fixed the issue when I rebooted.
