Please add a way to disable the reading plan reminders. I love the app, but I am not using the reading plan, and the reminders get somewhat annoying. Keep up the good work :)

is anyone aware of a way to turn the reminders off?

The reminders only appear after you access a reading plan and then miss the next reading.

I use a reading plan, but not in Logos. I did access the plan at one point, which triggered the notifications. But now they won't stop. I tried deleting the reading plan from the app, but that didn't work. Is there another way to disable it? Or will the ability to disable notifications be built into a future update? Thanks.

Please send support info from the app. The notification is only scheduled once; you shouldn't receive multiple notifications unless you access the reading plan again.

Thanks, now I understand how it works, and it may be my fault. Everytime I have received a notification, I have tried to delete the reading plan, which will usually cause it to open. So I think in my attempts to stop it, I am actually causing it. I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens. Thanks again.

Would also prefer to disable the reminder. I've got other ways of setting reminders, so the one in-app is redundant.

Another comment on the reminder. What prompted me to come and ask for a way to disable them is the reminder popped up on my iPad this morning even though I am not behind. But it just occurs to me that my iPad app didn't know I'm not behind. A couple of days ago I did my reading plan readings from my iPad. Yesterday and today, I did them from my Mac. Because I've not used the app since doing the reading plan a couple of days ago, it hasn't been able to sync and thus wasn't updated with the plan showing my progress yesterday. Hence the reminder even though I'm not behind.

I have a similar problem with the Reading Plan duplicating itself. To day I had my current reading copy plus 6 other copies. I switch from reading from my Mac one day and the next several days from my iPad2. When I read from my iPad2 I need to go into my Mac Version to click on Today in the top bar for each of the copies of the reading schedule found up there.

How can I eliminate the duplication and get my Mac and my iPad2 to talk to each other?

I am using (usually) using both from the WiFi connection in my office.

    David -

did you delete the reading plan on your computer? If it's still on the computer the iPhone/iPad app is probably syncing it back to your device

    Thanks Stephen,

I only deleted the plans on the iPad, not on my PC. I figured out the problem, but forgot to update the thread. It was actually my fault. Everytime I would try to delete the reading plan, I would inadvertently end up opening it. By doing that, I was triggering the reminders again. Once I left it alone for a day or so, the reminders quit, just like they are suppossed to.
