Creating Links to Resources

In another post I saw that someone had created a link to a resource within Logos. When I clicked on his link, it opened up in Logos my copy of that resource, to a specific page.

1. How is this done?

2. Can it be used in emails / Facebook etc.?

Use the Copy location as: "URL" menu item from the resource menu:

(I'm assuming Macs have this function, too)

You can put the URLs on Facebook if you want, but they're only going to work if the person clicking on them has Logos installed.

It works on the Logos forums, but it doesn't seem to work in other places - i.e. email or pages document.

The applications have to recognize them as URLs. They work in MS Office apps, but I'm not sure what to tell you about your Mac apps...others will have to chime in.

Often, if there's a way to add a link to a text selection, then you can use that function to make working links.
