7. Your #1 use for Logos: For worship prep parallel to the senior pastor's sermon prep on the given passage for the week.  I have recently started teaching the youth in Philippians, so the prep has been consuming my time as of late. 
8. Favorite non-Logos pastime: I really enjoy building furniture, and have started a new project, a standing desk for my office.

Random fact that gives others a glimpse into who your are:  I read two or three books a week, and often multiple at the same time, but in such an eclectic manner that my wife is often confused by how I can go from one book to the next, AKA, Scifi to Theology to Biography to Fantasy, etc..  In other words, I have ADOS (Attention Deficit .... Oooo Shiny!)

It is not too late. I was 37 when I sensed God's call, and my first reaction was "Lord, you obviously don't know how old I am." Next morning, my boss and I were discussion some mundane matters on running the submarine when he remarked out-of-the-blue, "My father was 50 years old when God called him to preach!"

At 45, you are not too old. If God is in it, you can do it.

It's never too late to follow whatever call you've received!!

Wow!!!  What awesome words of encouragement.  My grandfather was in his early 40's when he became a pastor and he pastored a church for the next 30 or so years of his life.  I have felt the calling for most of my life, but I ran from it with a vengence.  Boy is God patient.  When I finally gave it all up to him he moved very quickly opening doors for me.  I lost my job and then got a new job which required a cross-country move.  A friend recommended a church which I fell in love with immediately.  I started serving in a ministry where I was quickly given the opportunity to not only serve others but to preach as well.  The great news is that I was asked to preach again and will have more opportunities in the future.  It's amazing what happens when you stop fighting God.  My life has been one of constant struggle and now things are moving so fast my head is spinning. 

I am so overwhelmed by God's grace and mercy.  As I write this I am trying to hold back the tears.
