Posting from Ipad
Hey,
Everytime I try to post to the forum from the Ipad it will not allow me to type in the Description field. Not sure why. I can get there, and read what everyone else says but when I click reply it brings the screen up but refuses to allow me to type in the box. I inevitable give up and go the old fashioned way (lol) and type up my quesiton/comment on my PC. Any ideas whats going on?
Thanks!
Gary

The workaround is to click on the HTML button (just to the left of the "paragraph" dialogue box. It will open another window for you which will allow you to type. i don't understand the technical reasons, but Logos' website is not compatible with the mobile version of Safari on the iPad.

This is a common issue on the iPad. But if you look to the top right of the toolbar tools you will see an HTML button. Tap that and it brings up a special input box. The iPad can type into that box. It's a bit more tedious, but it works.
As an aside, I played some with iOS 5 and was surprised to find that I could type in the description box. Possible fluke, or possible change in iOS 5 that allows it to work. Either way, it crashed when I tried to paste in a link, but we will overlook that minor issue.0 -
Cool. Thanks four the advice, I'll try that! I'm also going to try "terra" another iPad browser and see how it interacts with the site. I'll let you guys know the results when I get around to it.Thanks again!0

All browsers on the iPad will behave the same because they all have to use the same WebKit engine.
iOS 5 introduces support for the rich text editor control our forum software uses, but it's still in beta.

It sort of works but the screen on an iPhone is so small that it is functionally very hard to do in iOS 5 Safari. Sure wish you guys had a mobile site.
