How to limit a basic search to a particular Bible book

In another thread there was as discussion about limiting a basic search to a particular Bible book. On that thread a number of people (including me!) said it wasn't possible, and the suggestions given didn't work. We were wrong! Below is proof that it is possible. (It's done by creating a highlight that covers the book, and searching within the highlight.)

Yes, and no. It only took me 2 minutes to highlight the book, and because I created a separate palette for this, I can keep the highlighting in case I need it for the future (though of course it's tied to one version which is a pain).

Well, I said in the competition thread yesterday that it was possible. I have screen shots from then on my desktop proving I did it, exactly the same way you did, and I earned $30 for that solution by linking to your highlighting video, which was the closest I could find on the forums. Thanks for your unintentional help in winning me that money! I've already spent it well. [:)] I can now lean back and rest while the rest of you fight to win the other competitions, since I am, unfortunately, not allowed to win any more. [:(]

Actually, I must say I feel rather proud of having found a solution to something so hard that people much more advanced than me said it was impossible. [:P]

Yes, sorry for not giving you credit in this thread. I actually created it before I read Kevin's post suggesting that's what you meant by linking to my video. But subliminally that's probably what triggered the idea.

I'm afraid I didn't quite know what to do when I posted that. I didn't know it was supposed to be impossible, so I assumed there actually was a post somewhere, and I just couldn't find it. Then when I found your video, and realized you actually searched highlights in it, I didn't dare to wait anymore, so I posted it, hoping that I would still find the "real" post before those I tipped off with that link managed to do so -- or that, at least, I would get some credit for being first, even if it wasn't the clearest explanation of how to do it. And since it had to be from a forum post, I assumed that all I would do by explaining how I meant the video to be used, would be to lose time and tip off others even more. [:D]

This whole exchange makes me smile because this method seems like a solution in search of a problem. I can't say that I've ever had a question where this method would be better instead of a syntax search alternative or using the "Next Search result to just page through the results in the particular book desired.

With the forum-fu contest I was truly confused by Stephen's assertion that there was a forum post explaining how to do it. I found the post by KS4J almost an hour before I posted it to the thread but I held back because I figured that couldn't be it because I knew that syntax wouldn't work. But after a dozen or so search strategies failed (including looking for an example of using the searching highlights) I finally posted my "winning" answer.
