Will 4.0 work with a PowerPC?

I have a Power Mac G5 (PowerMac7,2) (PowerPC 970 (2.2 processor)). The initial download said the archetecture was not supported when I tried to launch it. Does this mean I have to buy a new computer to take advantage of the upgrade?

The short answer? Yes, you need an Intel-based Mac to use Logos 4.

Mike, I think Snow Leopard and Apple made that decision for you and Logos

Is there an older version of Logos that is still available that will work with a PPC architecture? I love Logos and have it on my MBP but the one in my office is a G5. There's really no chance of our church buying a new Mac for my office just so I can run Logos on it.
I can live with working from my laptop but it would be nice to get Logos onto this machine.

This will work on PPC architecture. Be warned, this version is little more than a e-reader with search capabilities. It lacks most of the advanced features of Logos 4.

Hey guys thanks for the help. I was not aware of Biblia. I know it doesn't have all of the features but at least I can pick up reading where I left off if I need to and don't have my laptop with again.
Again thanks for the help!
