I wonder if the Logos version would have the JEPD tags (see the JPG screen shots and at the top). I don't particularly agree with JEPD but it would be handy to have a reference that had the tags (one version anyway).
I signed up, if only for some great early 1900s authors.

This one is almost there. Just a few more folks jumping in and this one goes over the top. Let's see how low we can get the price, the more who bid, the lower it goes. Right now we are looking at just under .88 cents a book. Can we get it to .70 cents?
I'm in! I've been seeing these commentaries referenced in a fair amount of commentary footnotes,so I definately want to check it out.
Remember ... if you sign up, you can read how Alfred (Plummer) 'divides the gospel of John into two parts: from his birth to the departure from Jerusalem after the Ascension, and the departure from Jerusalem to his death'.
I don't think you're going to find another commentary that has been able to do that. You can read it for a little less than a dollar too.

My Gospel According to John doesn't have the Ascension story[:'(] so I agree Alfred Plummer did do something remarkable.[;)]

I signed up for the set the very first day it was available as a pre-pub, before community pricing. I have the Ecclesiastes volume, and it's one of my favorite commentaries.
Well, well worth the price.

I hope so but it is down to being listed at 95% now... Seen similar thing happen in New Interpreter's Bible it was at one point almost at the required interest and a few days latter was well below the required. Not sure what happened. I am still hoping the NIB will make it to production but it seems to have stalled out. The full retail price gives little reason for anyone to want to get in on a prepub though. I wish all Logos users had access to it, but can be glad I have it. The commentary is sound, and the reflections feed my soul almost daily. I think this community offering is a fabulous deal and while I know it;s over 100 years old I think it will prove to be a good buy and still insightful, I doubt it will be as valuable to me as NIB but I look forward to getting it and using it ASAP nonetheless.

Now Dan ... I got out my computer magnifying glass and measured it. If it's not 99%, then maybe 98%. Just being optimistic again.
But I will say each time I've refreshed the page today, the little circle does move up. So clearly (absent some Logos shananigans), a few more people would send this little puppy home with new parents!
I wanted NIB when I first got Libronix. So I was excited when I saw Logos had added it. Then I saw the price .... goodness.
It's my fault I noticed a percentage listed (savings) and thought not looking closely thought it was project interest level. I admit that the NIB is over priced (in that it should be less than list price). But one thing I will say, Interpretation costs the same amount now and while a fine work is far less in depth usually. The total page count is much lower, and it's pages are smaller. If someone is willing to pay 799 for it the NIB becomes a viable alternative. I use both but if i had to choose one it would definitely be NIB.
