Getting my sermon file on my iPad
Is there a way or, if not, is there any chance Logos could create one, for me to have my sermon file on my iPad? It can't be a copyright issue as I have the copyright to my sermons - I can have them on my laptop in the copy of Logos 4 there but not on my iPad.

Stephen, I send myself a word doc file and open it in either documents to go, or goodreader. I kind of like docs to go because I can edit it if I need/want to.

I use Word on the PC and use Dropbox to send to iPad. Then, I usually open with Pages if I need to edit. I have Documents To Go, but editing seems a bit more tedious because the toolbar is it the bottom and kind of sparse.

I preached for the first time with my iPad today, and other than the glare of the pulpit lights I really liked it. Instead of turning pages I just had to scroll down a little bit. I am looking forward to transferring a bulk of messages over, so I don't have to carry so many "just in case" messages in my Bible. I used file app tp transfer it over but it doesn't have a lot of editing features. I have been looking at pages, anybody care to give your opinion on it's usefulness.

Eventually the PBB feature should take care of this! I could be wrong, but from things I have read in the various Forums we will be able to add out PBB's to the iPad.Is there a way or, if not, is there any chance Logos could create one, for me to have my sermon file on my iPad? Actually if they handle the sermon file add-on right they would allow the created resources to show up on (sync to/offline for) the iPad/iPhone. I don't know but doesn't that seem like an obvious feature that would be built into the new sermon file addon?0 -
I've copied some to Word files and synced them through DocsToGo as an interim measure (to have a selection available on hand for last minute calls - I do pulpit supply) and they work fine. However, having settled on using Logos to maintain my sermons and usage a few years ago (taking over from an Access database I'd previously developed) I'd hoped I wouldn't have to repeat all the work now the iPad can take over from a laptop.
Just have to wait an hope Logos can get it sorted - the sermon file is probably the remaining reason I keep Logos 3 going.

Same here, in fact the sermon addon is the only reason I ever launch L3. It servers no other purpose for me.0
