Discount?

So I just dropped 500 bucks on Logos for mac less than 2 months ago, at a conference where the sales guy was very good. I like the product, but honestly have not even really figured out how to use it yet, as the learning curve seems steeper than the sales pitch indicated. There was no mention that it would soon be obsolete during that sales pitch either...
Now, there's a new version out, and you want 125 MORE dollars so that I can have basically what I already have, with a slicker interface. I'd gladly pay the extra, if I thought I wold then be able to really harness the power of the software without spending days learning how.
And all of the training videos seem to apply only to the new Version 4.
Slightly perturbed. Please help.

Ben, I was one of the PC Beta testers and if you are spending any money it is and has been the position of Logos that is to cover the cost of the "crossgrade" which is what Logos calls it. Officially I call it an upgrade, but it is a crossgrade to the new version of the package that you own.
In other words I have the Leader's Library. Under V3 I had "x" resources in the same Leader's Library under V4 there are 100+ new resources and BTW they are incredible and valuable resources. That is what you are paying for, not the engine.
You can use the V4 engine for free, though I would not recommend it on Mac unless you have the patience to be an "Alpha" tester, which means lots of bugs, downloads and frustration during the testing process.
Also you purchased the first package and it will continue to work so it is not like you don't have what you paid for originally, it is not going away or being taken away and that package will work with V4 as well.

Ben,
I asume this is the same in both win and mac.
You do not have to pay another dime to use the new L4mac interface. You can start testing the Alpha 1 release now if you like.
However, since the Mac situation is a bit different going from 1 to 4 as opposed to Windows going from 3 to 4, I would call sales. I am confident Logos will do right by you in this situation. They may be busy, but they have long hours today until 9 pm.

I would suggest checking the upgrade calculator; it should offer a price that reflects your very recent purchase.
I think the old training videos are still online, but may have gotten lost in the web site transition; I'll see if we can get them back, or "found" again.

That's nice to know that Joe, thank you--and thank you to Logos for bringing Christmas on Nov 2nd this year and working hard to help all your giddy customers!
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.
