RC-3: "Dock this panel" not working with biblical places.
I brought up a passage in the OT and clicked a map...so far so good.
When the floating window opened I used the "dock this panel" command from the drop down, and it crashed logos...empty floating panel and all else unclickable...I had to close Logos...

Yes..it was a PG for 1 kings 11
About half of the maps that are shown didn't work.

Can you be more specific? I can't repro with the few maps I tried and I don't know which map you selected.

This particular crash report is for a PG on 1 Kings 11.
There is two things going on;
1.) Only 3 to 5 of the maps shown for 1 Kings 11 actually work; the rest have a large white blank window.
2.) If I try and "float" that window...that's the freeze up. If I try and float a window where the map is showing...it works fine.
I'll have tell you which maps are the ones that work later....

As I said; if a floating biblical people window is blank...then the the only way to see it is to dock it...if a map actually came up...then it works just right and I'm also able to dock it.
Here is a movie of what's going on..that's WAY easier than listing 25 maps....

Yes...it's happening.
Open any map by clicking on biblical people/map.
click "dock this map"
Logos freezes for approx 1 minute map window is blank.
Map will finally dock.
Subsequent maps will open in docked panel
Undocking and redocking on any new map window work fine after this one docking incident.
After restart...the whole process starts over.

I have a slower processor, 2gb of ram AND am running in vista and I can't get it to freeze or show a blank window. Maybe you have incomplete resources for the Biblical P/P/T feature? Try update resources in command bar and let me know if it does anything, if not I will report this to the devs and see what they recommend.

Still, nothing...

I cannot reproduce this problem as everything in 1 Ki is working properly for me.

In "Biblical People" if I click on a map that appears correctly in a floating window...it docks fine.
If I click on one that is blank in the floating window...then it also docks fine...
It's now down to the floating window issue....
