Hey,

So I just downloaded Logos 4. I love the new look and feel (way better than the look and feel of Logos 3). I have scholar's edition and one of the features I used regularly for my Masters work was the sentence diagram ability. However I can't seem to find that ability anymore in Logos 4 is it there if so how do I access it? If not why did they take it away and can I have it back please?

It's coming 2nd quarter of 2010.  Check out what's missing from my sig.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

    Ryan,

Sentence diagrams aren't here yet. :(

They plan to try to get them out in Q1 2010

Here's a list of all the things planned and when:

Is the ESV reverse interlinear not available yet for Logos 4?

The Interlinear is built into the ESV. If you open the esv you will see an interlinear button along the top of the pane. Click that button and the interlinear will open along the bottom

I do not like that one bit unfortunately. Way too confusing at first glance.

If you are looking for the Reverse Interlinear like we had in 3.0 the answer is that Logos is working on it. It was not going to be in 4.0 but the beta testers asked (nicely, of course) and Logos promised to make it reappear. We've just been told it will not be a separate resource but there will be a way to toggle a whole pane of the interlinear features rather than just a line.

My personal request was for something exactly like we already have. I hope whatever Logos produces comes very close to that.

The Interlinear is built into the ESV.

I should mention that the interlinears are built into many of the translations now, like the NKJV and NASB.

I love Logos and regularly diagram in Greek, but have always found the diagramming module in Logos very difficult and limited so I usually just end up diagramming on paper or sometimes in BibleWorks when I have access to it. Logos, if some additional work could be done on the diagramming module so that it was more flexible and user friendly (e.g. a pre-formatted S. Vb. DO. line one can simply drag and drop and then plug words into!) it would immediately go from unused to one of my favorite features of Logos! Here's hoping the version for 4.0 has more features!

I think Bob mentioned its being held back partially to make sure when it does come, they get it right.
