BUG: CTRL + F searching highlighting

For some reason when you do a search using CTRL + F it finds things other than the word you are looking for. I am attaching an example of it highlighting [mu]"sic." instead of Jacob which comes in the next sentence. If you click find next result it will find Jacob and if you then click find last result it will not find "sic." but go up to another non-Jacob entry.

    Tom:

It works fine for me with ESV. Try that resource. I wonder if The Mishnah has not been optimized for L4 yet?

This may happen if indexing has not yet finished. Another search issue, suggested an indexing possibility to. If indexing is still running in your tray, wait till it finishes and try again. If it's not, I wonder whether Logos can switch to the new index dynamically, or if it has to restart. You can try restarting, if indexing is finished and try again to see if that fixes it.

My ESV (and ever other Bible I have tried) seems to work fine but I can't get any other book to work without this problem, including those which have been updated to L4 format. My indexing finished yesterday and there is only one index (I searched for "the"). The first few results might be okay but by the fourth result it is finding misc things. Are you not having this problem?

No, I'm not. But I don't have the Mishnah.

If you haven't restarted L4 after indexing finished, try that. If that doesn't work there could be a problem with the index, or with the resource. Hopefully Logos will catch this thread and check it out themselves.

I've tried a couple of non-bibles. Works fine.

    Sorry!

Just tried it and got the same problem.

Open Mishnah. Ctrl+F - Jacob.  First hit OK (which is good because the book is by Jacob Neusner). Second hit is off.

This looks like a case where the indexer is off on character counts. Can happen in some older resources; it's possible this hasn't been rebuilt for Logos 4 yet. I'll forward it to the text development department to check out and rebuild.

    Thanks!

I had the problem earlier today on a different resource. It finally self-corrected - after a number of hearty laughs
