Personal Book Builder

Just as I had started to use Personal Book Builder, L4 come on line. At that time PBB was promised to come on line quickly. Searching the forum, I have found limited discussions since last December. Has this capability been incorporated into L4? If so, directions please.

I do not use PBB, but I understand that it is in the current beta - read through the beta forums for information about its current status. However, being in beta probably means it is not yet ready for prime time just yet.

As Floyd said PBB is currently in Beta and has been for several cycles. They are currently working through several bugs and issues related to the functionality of the program, but I would anticipate it is close (understand "close" can be subjective) to becoming a release candidate. I do not really think that they will add any significant new features in this Beta cycle, so as soon as they work through some of the known issues we should see an RC.

The current Beta is fairly stable so if you want to download the most recent, check the beta forum. Keep the risks in mind of running Beta.

One thing to keep in mind is that any books built during the beta cycle will not transfer over to the released version. So even if you are interested you'd probably just use the beta for learning and reporting bugs, not building a library. (Of course you'll have your edited source files to start from so much of your effort will not be lost.)

A second note is that unlike our note files, PBBs created in Logos 3 will not be able to be imported into Logos 4. They will have to be rebuilt using the original source files and Microsoft Word.
