Can't install on LG optimus V
Running froyo, rooted, on an LG Optimus V (Virgin Mobile).
When I attempt to install the app I get an "Application not installed" error, and the window closes.
Ideas?

After playing with it a bit, I got it installed. Seems that even though the downloaded file was on my SD card, It wouldn't install because there wasn't enough free internal memory on the phone. I deleted a file from the internal phone memory (this gave me about 19mb free - there is only about 200 mb total internal phone memory) and then the install went as normal. The installed files work on the sd card just fine and downloaded books reside there as well.
How much free internal memory do you have?

I have 193MB available and 3.7GB on my SD card. I am running on version 2.2.1. Getting this to work on my device would be great. It would mean having two devices in one: a Windows 7 tablet netbook on which I can run Logos and an Android tablet for reading and other Android appliocations and all this for 300$. Beat that Ipad! :-)

That should be enough memory. What is the exact error message you get when you try to install?

I am the same issue on my Phone (HTC Desire, v2.2 on Vodacom South Africa)
Simply throws the error "Application Not Installed" no other details presented?! Does the android installer create a log somewhere perhaps?
Have 26mb internal memory free?! Dunno if that's an issue!?
