Question on resources in biblia

Hi all,

I just took a lap around biblia.com to see how it is progressing; I had not looked at it for awhile as I have a pretty functional laptop with Logos 4 on it. But I thought biblia.com looks pretty good!

I checked the release notes of some recent releases, and I did not see my question answered, so here goes - I noticed that on biblia.com there are only about 75% of the number of resources I have in Logos. I have bought about 98% from Logos so I don't think it's third party resources. Is this something that will become more accurate over time, or is there some class of resource that's not going to be available in biblia? It's a lot of resources, but I don't know how to find out exactly which ones are missing. Also, will my 3rd party resources show up there? I don't see my SESB resources for instance, I know I bought those elsewhere a while ago.

What appears on Biblia is the same resources that are available on the iPod/Pad. Logos has to get contractual permission to deliver books via the internet to an app or web browser. Logos' goal is to have all book available on this platform but they can't say for certain when that might be possible. Contract negotiations take time. Bob has said in the past they have an entire team working on contacting publishers for contract amendments.

Woo hoo it's on there now! The Complete Jewish Bible is on there now although it's lacking the cover image. This is great!

So...as an update to this Dec 2010 posting....

Not ALL of my resources are available via Biblia.com; (for example-several of my resources on The Dead Sea Scrolls, which exist in Logos 4 on my desktop)...but...as time goes on the goal is that ALL such resources will be available...correct?

And...I can access them via a tablet or Kindle or any small "computer" that access Biblia.com via the web?

IF so...WONDERFUL. I have been VERY FRUSTRATED for years that I could only read my resources while sitting at my desktop (and I dislike "reading" via computer screen...I'm a paper-person at heart).

I was surprised that the scrolls are not available on mobile devices, even the iPad app. I thought the recent publications were Logos commissioned resources so shouldn't be relient on another publisher's permission.

Hmmm - the only way I know how is to check each title's page individually on logos.com (as if you were looking to buy it) - if it shows a mobile phone symbol, then it's available on Biblia.

For the Biblia Devs: it would be *very* useful to have a page when we log on that gives us a list of resources which we cannot access via the web...

Nicholas, I do not see the phone symbol. Can you send me a link to a page that has this. I am looking at a few resources that are availabe via Bibia.com and do not see the phone symbol. Thank you.

Wow - that comes as a bit of a shock. My understanding was that the title's licensed for biblia were the same as licensed for portable devices. (Though *WHY* there is a difference in license between that and the basic logos4 application is something I don't understand... Personally, I don't own a windows or a mac machine, so I use logos exclusively via Biblia.)

Hmmm - if not all the resources on Biblia are tagged with the phone icon, I would again re-iterate my call for the biblia admins to give us a page showing the titles we own - divided into those viewable on biblia and those only viewable in Logos4.

The product page shows the platforms a resource is available on. As far as I know, it does not exist in a list format.

I'd be happy with a rule set, such as "none of the Zondervan resources are on Biblia", though I notice that the Zondervan resources are there. They're not in the same order though, as Logos ignores words like "A" and "The" when it sorts by title, so "A Survey of the New Testament" is under "Survey" in Logos, but Biblia.com displays it under "A Survey...". This makes it harder to compare.
