installing error
Hope this is the right place. - Motorola Atrix
Just DLd Logos for Android. Went to SD Card>Downloads>Logos.apk and clicked on it. I get the following . . .
"Security Warning. The application comes from an unknown source, and for your security only applications from trusted sources can be installed." Did a search here for "Security Warning" but none of the results included the one above.
The download page includes the following . . ."If you get an error message about installing from an unknown source, go
to Settings -> Applications and unsure "Unknown sources" is checked." Very good, but "Settings" > "Applications" does not include "Unknown sources." What am I missing?

I have an atrix too with att and have same problem. You can find info on how to sideload on internet, but i am going to wait as other forums are saying that android vs 2.3.3 will be released sometime this month and att will allow non-market apps.

I just want to bump this back up for all ATT customers. There will be an update for atrix customers this month to allow non-market app loading. As for the other phones with ATT there are tech sites telling if and when other makes may get the android 2.3.3 update.

Even though logos is in the market and there is no need to sideload your atrix, att has sent an update that is available to atrix users. Upgrade from froyo 2.2 to gingerbread 2.3.4. This will also give the ability to install non-market apps.
