Jump to Reference Problem
Using an Asus Transformer.
In the Interliner Literal Translation, click on the Strong's Number and the pop-up appears. "Jump to reference" takes me to Strongs Dictionary. All good so far. In strongs Dictionary the reference to TDNT shows and clicking brings up the pop-up. But clicking "jump to reference" takes me to DBL not TDNT.
Fault or ..?

Hi David
Do you have either of these resources (TDNT or DBL) prioritised in your computer library - if so which is prioiritised highest?
These settings will affect how resources are accessed in the Android app.

Hello Graham,
Yes, both are, with DBL one above TDNT

Ok - that explains why you are seeing what you are seeing.
Hope that makes sense.

I have switched my priority order putting TDNT above DBLG and now Strong's ESL does not come up when I "jump to Reference" from the pop-up but it goes straight to DBLG and only that resource. ESL has always been above both of these.

Hi David
To fix this you need to use "Advanced Prioritization" - discussed at http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing and for this specific case see http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing#Example_3.3a__using_Enhanced_Strong.e2.80.99s_Lexicon_and_restoring_links_to_TWOT_.26_TDNT.2e
This issue is discussed at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/24371.aspx and http://community.logos.com/forums/p/32200/239889.aspx (among other places) if you want the background! However, the information in the wiki article should give you what you want.
Hope this gives you the behaviour you are looking for.

Thanks Graham. I will get to this perhaps later tonight or tomorrow. Going out to Bible Study shortly.

Graham,
I have been using advanced prioritisation for some considerable time and thought I understood it. On my desk top it does exactly as I set it up with clicks jumping to the reources as set up. ESL is my first priority in dictionaries and has no restrictions as to which resource it recognises..
On the Asus android clicking on the strong's number in Newberry interlinear brings up the pop up with "strongs+g ####", bottom right "jump to reference", nothing else in pop up.
Clicking on "jump to reference" goes to DBLG every time.
I am on version 1.0 Beta 7.
Any assisstance gratefully received.
Have just spotted that even using New Strong's Guide to Bible Words and clicking a number brings up the pop up with the same effect as above.

Advanced prioritization works for me on the PC application but not on the Android app. For example, I prioritize the NET Bible in the NET notes and the SBLGNT in Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics. These priorities function as expected on Windows, but the Android app skips advanced priorities and jumps to my top English translation.
As an aside, I prioritize the SBLGNT in Wallace's grammar because the NA27 and UBS4 (from the base packages) are not available on the Android app. I noticed that this is being discussed in another thread. My temporary fix will be to forgo advanced prioritization and place the SBLGNT above my favorite English translations.
Edit: It works, but I forgot that Greek text doesn't display correctly in pop-ups. At least I can jump to the reference easily enough.

Apologies, I assumed that advanced prioritisation would work as we would expect on Android but, since this feature is not something I currently use, I didn't get round to testing it.
From http://community.logos.com/forums/t/35869.aspx it looks as though the same (similar) issue exists on the iPad app as well. I will edit that thread to cross-link to this one and hopefully Logos can look at them together.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! It does appear that the Logos mobile applications is not correctly detecting resource priority. I have submitted a case and we should address this bug in a future release.
Hi Hunter,
Will this problem also be addressed on the iOS side?

I know this thread is a few years old but I have been having this issue when trying to jump to references in my niv 84 bible. I am using an asus transformer.

Hi Joshua - and welcome to the forums.
This was discussing a particular issue around prioritisation which may not be related to what you are seeing.
Can you start a new thread in this forum and outline exactly what you are seeing?
Thanks, Graham
