Thanks, successfully installed in my Nexus One 2.3.4. David, any chance we will see a similar navigation slider for the library page to quickly zoom through resources?

Another thank you.
Successfully installed on Asus Transformer.

Regression? When launching, I'm brought to my downloaded books, and the "find" text box, even after having signed in. Am I missing something? Before Beta 7, I at least saw my Library, but that's not even available. Please advise.

Sounds like the app thinks you are offline. It only shows the resources you've downloaded when you aren't connected to the internet. Just an idea, I'm no programmer.

It appears that I have to log out of the website from my computer, in order to log in from my Android.

I can see the app in the market, but my device does not recognize it as an update. All I get is an option to open, no update. Currently running beta 6. This is on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Thanks!

I am seeing the same thing. No option to upgrade from beta 6.

This is probably because you did not install Beta 6 from the market, and it will only recognize an update if it has been installed from the market. Beta 8 will probably show up as an available update when it comes out.

Successfully installed on Asus Transformer.
Dave, how do you like your Asus? And how is the app running on it? I seriously considered that unit before I went with the iPad. I would appreciate any comments about your experiece.

Try visiting http://www.logos.com/mobile/android on your Tablet. Select the Download link there and see if you get different results.
Further updates should behave as normal for apps downloaded from the Marketplace.
Thanks,

Would love to have your thoughts on the Asus Transformer as I am thinking about buying one.
Thanks

I uploaded beta 6 from the link and did an update from Android Marketplace on my DroidX; worked fine. Must be some other reason.

Hunter,
Followed your directions using the download site. If I tried to open the download link using the marketplace app, I got the same result. However, by using a browser to access the market, I was able to install beta 7. Did end up with an extra icon (easy enough to get rid of). Looks like I am all set up with beta 7 now.
Thanks so much for your assistance!

Anyone using on Nook Color?

I used Beta 6 on my nook color running CM7... Ran really nice... Will be trying Beta 7 tonight time permitting...

I have Beta7 on my ColorNook, but am now unable to download books--the ones I already had are still there. When I try a new one (like the KJV), it tries but then says "Download Failed". I tried moving the Logos app "to the SD Card", but that didn't fix this issue. Not sure how to overcome it. However, I also can't remember where I put my ColorNook after testing this Friday night...

Found it...and for whatever reason, it has suddenly begun to download resources...odd.

James,
Sorry about delay in replying, I've only just seen this post.
I have had the Asus for a couple of weeks and like it very much. Everything runs well on it . I understand that it does not have access to as many apps as an Ipad but I want mine principally for Logos.
So fas as Logos android is concerned it is early days and it can be a little frustrating at times when I can't do the things I want, but still its a work in progress.
If I am using it at home, sitting in the garden say, I can use the "cloud" app and get access to my PC, controlling it from the Asus and seeing the desktop with all the facilities of the windows version available. That means I can sit comfortably somewhere within range and just "meditate" but with access to things if a thought arises.
When out of range and out of wifi access to internet I use And Bible to have access to strong's linkage and TSK, all free! I also use MySword for Android which has a few more free resources while waiting for Logos to catch up.
Hope this helps,
David

Just to add to what David said...I download locally just a few resources (bibles, commentaries, lexicons) for when there is no wifi in range...very handy

Anyone running this on Acer Iconia? Also does this app run full screen on tablets?

I have run it on an Acer Iconia for about a month before I returned it in favor of the much better ASUS Eee Pad Transformer. What is your question besides full screen? Yes it runs full screen, but looks just ilke the phone version only bigger.

I very much enjoy my Logos' Scholar's 4 Library and have been a long time user of your Bible study software. I look forward to using the Android Beta version on my Motorola Atrix phone. Among the future features list I would most like to see quickly are word and multiple word look ups (across a limited verse range). I also need a Strong's cross-reference number look up capability. I most often use the Authorized King James Version for my daily study. As a long range feature on my Android, I would love to be able to search the Aprocrypha and look up the Greek words behind the English language translation. I wish Logos much success with future Android products!
