Greek Text

Has anyone been able to access UBS or Nestles Greek text? I can stream and download the SBL text, but neither of the fore mentioned will show up in the library.

I am able to open the Nestle or UBS just fine.

Try navigating to the library window, then select the Menu button on your device then select Update. Wait for the library to update and you should have access to all of your books.

Tried "update." I have done this before. If I search "Greek New Testament," "UBS," "Nestle," "Nestles" or just "Greek," the SBL shows up and all of the "old" public domain texts show up, but not the ones I prefer and use exclusively on my laptop, UBS or Nestles. This has been the case since I downloaded the first beta version available to the public. My device is a DroidX, since there are no other issues other than the common known issues, I don't understand why some have access to it and I don't.

They don't show up in mobile.  I finally got them once I added the SESB.  The base ones are not available, at least on iPhone.

Is this an oversite or a licensing issue? I purchased the language edition to get the Greek and  Hebrew texts. Would not like to have to spend more to purchase books I already own!.

There shouldn't be any need for a further purchase in order to get the Nestle-Aland on your Android application.

I am not sure what you mean when you say that "'old' public domain texts show up". Do you have other versions of the Nestle-Aland or are these other resources?

If you would, please open your Desktop version of Logos 4 and open the Nestle-Aland edition that you are wanting to show up on the app. Press the little [i] icon and let me know what appears next to Support Info.

    Thanks,

I don't see the little "light bulb" icon you refer to. Under "info" it is entitled "Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament 27th Edition." When I purchased Logos 4 I purchased the language package.

I went back and did find what you were asking for on the info page, which was an icon that appeared as an i with a circle around it (perhaps you have a MAC?). Support info was:

    LLS:LOGOSNA272010-05-10T22:53:56ZLOGOSNA27.logos4

By "old public domain texts" I was referring to Westcott and Hort, Tischendorf, Stefens, etc.

And a word of thanks to all the hard work at Logos. I switched over from Bibleworks back in Dec. Before this app was available, I looked at the trade as a wash due to certain aspects of BW8 I liked. This app puts Logos4 over the top and makes it well worth the cost of switching (even in its present stage of development).

    Hunter,

As shown in the link above, the NA27 that is not part of the SESB is only for the desktop applications.  You can get the older Westocott and the SBL but not NA27.

I'm only seeing NA26 in android app and not the NA27 which I have on my desktop L4.
