Links in SDA Bible Commentary Expanded edition broken
Hello all I was hopping for a resolution to my problem that has existed since version 1.7.1. I am using the Seventh Day Adventist bible commentary expanded edition and I am unable to get to other books referenced in the commentary by clicking on links within the commentary. For example I am reading the bible with the SDA commentary expanded edition volume 5 open on a specific passage. The commentary gives an explanation of the text I am reading but then says to go to volume 1 for additional reading. I click on the link and wait and wait but nothing happens. I check other books in the SDA library like the Ellen G White Writings Scriptural Index. I click on the links to other books that I know are apart of the library of books within the SDA Commentary expanded edition but nothing happens. This all use to work a prior to version 1.7.1, after this version the links stopped working. Can someone from Logos please help. I would greatly appreciate it.

Do the links work on your computer? Please give a specific example, and I will test it on my pc.

Maybe you need to add some information to get help [maybe] I assume that 1.7.1 is the rev of the iPhone app. Need a reference so that we can look up what you were looking at. Then someone can look over your shoulder. [and check the links on that page]

Thanks for asking and for your comments. Yes it works perfectly on my MAC and PC but it stopped working a couple of versions ago on my iphone. I have the latest version of the Logos app. I am sorry if I was not being specific before. Please forgive me. Let me see if I can get this right.
I have the Seventh Day Adventist commentary extended version which consists of 8 or 9 volumes and all of Ellen G White's books. These are awesome resources by the way if you have never read them. I have the bible study base package as well. My iPhone 3gs has iOS 4.3.4 installed. My Logos app is version 1.7.4.
Senario
I am reading the NKJV bible and I am reading 1 John 2:1 with the SDABC7 short for The Seventh-Day Adventist Bible Commentary, Volume 7 open on the second window. Both the bible an the commentary are synced.
NKJV
"My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."
On the very first Paragraph of the commentary of the commentary. It says
SDABC7
1. Little children. Gr. teknia (see on John 13:33), a diminutive form of tekna, “children” (see on Rom. 8:14). It might be rendered “dear children,” for the diminutive is used to express endearment rather than size or age. In the NT only the Saviour and His beloved disciple used this word (John 13:33; 1 John 2:12, 28; 3:7, 18; 4:4; 5:21), apart from its possible use by Paul in Gal. 4:19.
Both see on John 13:33 and see on Rom. 8:14 are links and I would click on one of them. In the past it would take me directly to another volume of the SDA commentary concerning John 13:33 but now I get this error message "Logos could not load the specified book" This happens for all the links and references to books or commentaries listed in all the commentaries. It does not matter if I open a different volume and try anther reference to a EG White book or another commentary, I get the same error message. The only links that work are the ones that are bible references like (John 13:33; 1 John 2:12, 28; 3:7, 18; 4:4; 5:21). Anything that has; see on before the link to a book or another SDA commentary volume, does not work. I get that error message "Logos could not load the specified book"
I hope this was a better explanation of what I am experiencing. Please forgive my ignorance and for not explaining myself better. Please be patient with me. I do know the developers probably deal with people like me all day and I apologize for that. I really do love this app and it has been apart of my worship time everyday. I really do miss the ease at which I was able to go back and forth between the different volumes and books within the SDA Commentary expanded edition.

I have the SDA Commentary & an iPad. I was going to try your scenario out, but Logos just hangs when I start it. If/when I get past that problem, I'll update you on if I can replicate the problem.

WIndows is also working for me as expected. Ipad works so long as the link is within the current SDA Commentary. If the verse reference is in a different book, the Windows version will move both the commentary and the bible to the requested verse. iPad only moves only the bible.
EGW links aren't working at all.
Not clear to me why the iPad version isn't smart enough to follow the link to a different volume within in the same commentary.
