Slightly off topic here, but this is too good not to pass on to Android lovers. Staples is offering $100 off any Android tablet (Nook excluded) through the end of the month with this printable coupon (can’t be used online). If you don't have a Staples nearby, keep in mind that Best Buy and other stores may do a price match.

It goes without saying, but obviously the main reason you'd want an Android tablet is to run the Logos or Vyrso app. :)

Update: Link fixed. Sorry about that.

    How do we access the printable coupon? When I click on the hyperlink it refers me to an outlook web access login.

    Thanks

    George

    Apologies (still wee bit skeptical): noted Android has 30% of tablets shipped to stores.  Likewise noticed Apple shipped 9.3 million iPad's with sales of 9.25 million last quarter.  Am aware Asus needed to increase production volume due to EeePad sales of 300,000 in June, which would be a good buy with $ 100 off coupon (albeit delivery only at Staples web site).

    Android community article about Asus EeePad Transformer => http://androidcommunity.com/asus-transformer-how-to-and-faq-video-round-up-20110721/

    For Acer Iconia Tab A500, appears Staples $ 100 off is better deal than $ 50 promotional gift card at Newegg (plus Acer Iconia Tab A500 availability in Staples stores).

    Keep Smiling [:)]

    I read this on the macrumors.com website.

    "Daring Fireball's John Gruber isn't buying it.

    Looks like those numbers are for units shipped, not units sold. Except that for Apple those numbers are one and the same, because they’re selling iPads as fast as they can make them. Judging by Google’s own numbers for Android OS versions in use, it sure seems like a lot of Android 3 tablets are sitting on store shelves."

    This is good info if your looking to buy stock. A few weeks ago my wife and I passed by an Apple store and it was full (the only store in the mall that was!). I suggested to her that that is a good sign we should own some Apple stock. Other than that, I'd say both platforms are here to stay and quite popular. If a cheaper unit fits your needs, why buy the more expensive? Fact is, we'll all enjoy the new functionality of Logos.

    My question how can this 3.1 honey comb android tablet use this printer?

    Cartoid for android?

    There must be a way...

    HP does not support android system

    So, any advice...

    I can use it with my laptop but, would like to use with my tablet.

    Toshiba Thrive 10.1 3.1 android tablet 16 g

    I bought my 16 g Toshiba thrive $329.00 hsn.com 4 payments.

    they also laptops and desk top some with flex payment  it helped me.

    ========================

    Staples: hP office jet 100 portable printer with bluetooth  including a $89.00 battery  some countryies not all but, in USA $199.

    $50.00 off if you in bring  printer (recyclable) trash.

    tax included $160.00 factor in the battery cost

    $70.00 real cost

    almost laser quality print b/w and color

    1/ 3 bigger than hp 460, 470 much better print.  12x6x 4".

    =======================

    Keyboard that works Brookstone bluetooth keyboard with portfolio case for ipad.

     hP 100 recognizes pairs but does not connect .

    No the thrive will not fit its too big, so I keep the Thrive in the case.

    The Brookstone keypad, best keys, use it separately and when case  is folded under it forms a solid angled base.

    the only mouse i found  is Logic tech 3.1 or 3.2 mouse $26-36.

    Not all accessories pair or are compatible with the 3 ports and ports do not equal use.

    big shock and complaint

    it's Cinderella again.
