I downloaded Lion last night because users were saying Logos was stable on it. I can't do any searching on L4 currently. I am attaching a log. Let me know if I didn't do it right.
Thanks for your help.

Since using 4.3 Beta 13, Logos may move this thread to Mac Beta forum.
If unable to search using Logos 4, wonder if indexing complete ?
Would like to see diagnostic log files along with description of steps leading to crash: e.g. example search that crashes, including search term(s) and resource(s) since want to try to replicate.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac section includes link to Logos 4 Mac AppleScript Application (to change diagnostic logging) plus refer to Mac Diagnostic Logging for details.
Keep Smiling [:)]
I am having the exact same problem on the exact same version of Logos (Version: 4.30.1437 [61430.5.157]) on the exact same version of OSX Lion (11A511). The Logos crash log in ~/Library/Application Support/Logging was not updated by this crash as its time stamp is seven days old. The strange thing is that Logos will crash, even multiple times in a row, then mysteriously starts up without any trouble. I've noticed that starting Logos then switching to another app while Logos is still loading seems to provoke this nine times out of ten. But the last crash I experienced just a minute ago seemed to occur when the animated star on the current Bible chapter was animating. (It should be noted that I do *not* start to the Logos Home page...perhaps this is also a culprit?)
UPDATE: Immediately after posting the above, my next launch of Logos opened fine and included an update to Logos Version 4.30.1497. That launch also worked fine (and also seems to be a bit more responsive to scroll-wheel movements, etc.). The jury is out. [grin]

Welcome [:D]
Due to many layout crashes during Logos 4 Mac alpha pre-releases, personally choose to open to Home Page, then choose layout. Also aware opening to Home Page can crash too. Thankful for command key option to open to blank layout.
The jury is out. [grin]
Grinning [8-|]
By the way, enabling diagnostic logging may cause 4.3 RC 1 saved layout crashiness to disappear => 4.3 Beta 13 crashes when opening a saved layout
Well, 4.30.1497 just crashed, as well. I did use the Command-Key-open-to-blank-layout suggestion above, and that worked.
The comments about the saved layout made me wonder...my saved layouts were all created when I was using Logos on Windows. I've since switched to Mac, but I'm using the same saved layouts. Could the crash be related to this scenario?
Regardless of what is causing the crash, I must say that Logos error handling leaves a lot to be desired. It would be a nice feature if Logos had a global error handler that, instead of allowing the O/S to detect a crash, Logos would catch the error and redirect to a blank layout. (Pardon me for "solutioning," but I am also a software engineer as well as a pastor. [grin])
In the meantime, I am going to recreate a new custom layout from scratch, and see if Logos-4-Mac plays any nicer with a Mac-generated layout. Here's hoping!
Starting with command key also enables diagnostic logging for that session; after opening to blank layout, can select a named layout. If crash, please compress log files, and reply (attaching archive as part of reply). Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac section includes Logging folder location.
Not know; have opened several named layouts in Logos 4.3 RC 1 on Mac that were created on Windows. Noticed if window not maximized, Logos 4 creates window with specified size, which can be larger than display (e.g. create layout on 27" iMac, name layout, sync, open layout on PC with smaller screen, Logos window is bigger than screen).

Many months ago, Logos added copy of console messages for Logos Bible Software 4 process into Logos4.log diagnostic file. Having experienced a variety of Logos 4 Mac crashes, would not want automatic redirect to blank layout (since a corrupted database file can prevent blank layout from opening).
Looking forward to an update. Likewise hoping recreated layout plays nice.

The error in your log appears to be related to the same crash other Lion users are getting when they load a layout, primarily one with a floating window, but not always. Developers are working on a fix to be included in RC2.
Any ETA on the RC2 patch? My Logos crashes 8 out of 10 times that I launch it, and this is causing great frustration. I started with the Command key pressed, clicked the "blank layout" checkbox, and it crashed. Then I looked in my App Support/Logging directory, and the crash report that was there was about six days old (i.e. there was no new crash report). I can provide the OSX crash report if necessary.
PLEASE HELP! Thank you!
Any ETA on the RC2 patch?
Actually RC2 has already been succeeded by 4.3 RC 3 (shipped yesterday to Beta channel).
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Update Error has manual update steps.
We released RC 2 and RC 3 yesterday.
Downloaded and installed RC3, but all I get is a spinning dial on the "Signing In" window. I tried using the Command key shortcut to bring up the login window, and that doesn't work, either. [sigh]
Would like to see diagnostic log files; wiki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac has steps. Holding command key should have created Logos4.log file. If Logos 4.3 RC 3 is launched with diagnostic logging enabled, then old log files are deleted.
Logs are attached (but I changed my username to USERNAME).8510.Archive.zip
FYI...I installed the RC2 DMG, and it seems to work fine.
ADDENDUM: Just an FYI...
I am positively certain that I downloaded the RC2 DMG from the RC page linked above, but the About screen in Logos reports itself to be "Logos Bible Software 4.3 (4.30.0.1517)."
Ed -
From what I gather, you have been using the Beta versions of Logos 4. The current Beta is 4.3 RC3 (v4.30.0.1517), which is what you have. The current "stable" version is 4.2b SR-2 (4.22.5.1115). I assume that the link for the RC's will always lead to the latest beta.
FYI - "RC" is short for "Release Candidate" and means that it is about to go live for everybody. "SR" is short for "Service Release."
For a release candidate, Logos does not include RC in About since a release candidate can become the initial stable release, so About shows stable version number.
