Beta 8 is here!

Updated Beta 8 from the Android Store but I can't seem to get the passage guide to work.  Any ideas

This beta release contains some wonderful new functionality. Thank you to the dev team!

I have two apparent bugs I have noticed:

1. As was noted above, the passage guide seems to be limited to a very narrow Scripture reference parser. If I am reading the Bible, say 1 Corinthians 15:1, and I click the passage guide it will do a search for "1 Corinthians 15:1" and will return an error saying that the verse cannot be found. If I then click on the "verse" button in the passage guide and use the passage selection tool to choose the same verse, it will search for "1Co 15:1" and successfully open the passage guide. I know Logos has a very intelligent reference parser, it just seems that the passage guide does not currently have access to it.

2. I love the ability to long-press a word and perform a word search. The problem is that if there are any footnotes or cross-references attached to a word, they get added to the search string. For example: "Behold, I tell you a amystery;" (1 Cor. 15:51). If I long-press on "amystery" where the "a" is a link to 1 Corinthians 13:2, the word search will try to look up "amystery" and return no results. Somehow the long-press action needs to be smart enough to filter out links that aren't part of the actual biblical text.

Let me repeat my thankfulness for the hard work that is going into bringing the Android side of things into parity with the iOS side of things. It has made my investment into Logos much more useful. Once we get highlighting, I'm all set.

Update to beta 8 is great. Still I know there are some limitations. Feels a little quircky on passage guide. Long pressing a word in greek doesnt produce any results from word study, although I got Cristos to return from the greek in bdag and LN.

I have the same problem, Chris. The word study only seems to work with the SBLGNT, for instance, when a word that is long pressed also happens to be in its lexical form.
