I know it's early, but I have a suggestion about the size of the word study ring
First off...thank you so much for your hard work! I was amazed to fire up beta8 and see the word study ring and passage guide!! yeah!
I have a suggestion; I know it's early on but I thought I'd mention it.
Can you make the bible word study ring much larger? My old eyes have a hard time seeing/reading it. It's really nice and I can pick parts of the ring fine....but it's just small...
Also, just an FYI...the font rendering is futzing out...getting weird characters when greek or hebrew is displayed.
All in all...a very very good step..I thank you.

Here is what I'm describing.
Picture #1 is a screen shot of the BWS on my 10" tablet....notice how small the word wheel in the middle of this vast expanse looks...?
Picture #2 is zoomed using the 3.2 honeycomb zoom feature...now granted; it's horrible looking but something between the pin point wheel of #1 and the pixelated blob of #2 would be nice. Similar to how you allow resizing of the text.

Hi Robert
You're ahead of me - I don't get any wheels on my HTC Phone!
Is this feature only really expected to work on tablets?
I could see why that would be the case due to screen size but just interested

Interesting...on my X10 phone I don't get any wheels either! Just the blank spots where they are supposed to be....

Currently, this wheel is implemented using SVG, which Android only supports with version 3.0 and above. This is why users with tablets will be able to see the wheel while others will not.

Same here - Thunderbolt, no rings.
Can someone post a resource and word which definitely shows Greek word study results on an Android device? I've tried a few words from the ESV, and no Greek details show up.
Thanks,
Donnie

Donnie, the word study tool seems to be grabbing word selections rather than Greek lemmas. So, only Greek texts and Greek interlinears will give the results you are looking for, but even then, the word study tool will only give results for Greek words that happen to be in their lexical form.

Which begs the question of which Greek resources are available on mobile devices. I know the LEB / SBLGNT resources are, but I'm not sure any of the UBS / NA ones are, even if I have SESB. I don't yet, but I'll likely get it "real soon now". I haven't looked explicitly at interlinears...
Thanks for the reply,
Donnie

There are some known issues with the Word Lookup feature. We will be addressing these issues pushing out a fix in a future release.
Thanks,

Appreciate the way that 0.9.0 provides translation information in BWS for Android phones.
Not sure when this feature actually appeared but it is welcome!
Good job
