Bug 4.3 RC1: hyperlinks truncated after compile
Sorry, i posted this in the General forum. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/36294.aspx
i have hyperlinks in the Word doc and it shows correctly, but after compiling PB truncates the link at the hash mark (#).
From word
In the PB
This is verified by clicking on the link in the PB.

I am able to reproduce this when I use the Hyperlink feature in Word (Ctrk+K or right-click and choose Hyperlink). A workaround is to use the syntax below in the source document instead:
[[save the Layout >> http://wiki.logos.com/Layouts__#How_do_you_save_your_present_work_space.3f]]
I'll report the problem with how the Word hyperlink compiles.

This doesn't seem to work as shown below (am i doing something wrong?)
The hyperlinks work (even using the anchor [the hash marked text]). But the save the Layout is not the text with the hyperlink attached to it.
EDIT: the docx file 8306.PBB Fields.docx

I hadn't realized that if Word has detected the http reference as a hyperlink in the source document (blue, underlined link), the syntax doesn't work. Try right-clicking on the link and choose Remove Hyperlink, save the document, and rebuild the book. It should work correctly after that. I'll follow up with development on whether or not that is a bug.

The syntax using the pipe symbol was deprecated.

Is there a way to remove all hyperlinks in a Word document without clicking on each one? I couldn't find one.

To remove all hyperlinks in
a document, press CTRL+A to select the entire document and then press
CTRL+SHIFT+F9. This changes everything into plain text according to MS's support website.Prov. 15:23

In SR-2, still not working with URLs which have hash mark # (anchor marker in URL).
This case is still active and it will be fixed in a future release.
