Anyone know if this will pause automatically if I need to shut down? I've got some 10 GBs to download and it's not gonna finish before I leave the office for the day
It handles sleep and hibernate ok, I'm not so sure about a complete shutdown.
where does it tell me what to expect in this process? I have figured out that it is downloading 10 GB, but beyond that, i don't know. Will it "index" for another 15 hours (download is practically 24hours) and are there other things? Are there things I should or should not do? etc. Just curious. I am flying blind and there are just too many forum posts flying around to narrow down things.

Don't turn off your computer while indexing or don't cancel the indexing unless you want to start over.

Hibernate works.
In answer to the other questions, I'm sure indexing will run in the background well enough and be able to handle a shut down if it doesn't finish. At least, it typically uses markers so it knows what has/hasn't been indexed so I'm being presumptuous here.

If you put your computer in sleep mode, Logos will simply continue the download when you awaken the computer. I learned that accidentally when my computer went into sleep mode during the night while the program was downloading. I thought I would have to start over, but Logos picked up where it had left off.
And there are more threads than I have time to follow, but I've found a lot of helpful and encouraging information. At least it's keeping buyer's remorse at bay on the L3 Gold to L4 Platinum upgrade. [:)]

I'd of loved to go to Platinum... couldn't swing it though. I did make a major jump from Leaders to L4 Gold. Can't wait to have at it
