alt - P

Why does Alt-P sometimes paste my verese in Word and then minimize the panel and other times it just pastes my verses and then leaves the panel open causing me to have to close or minamize it manually? This is very distracting, I never know when it is going to work like i want it to!

I can't get ALT-P to do anything in Word 2011 (except switch to the Page Layout tab). Did you mean ALT-V?

Ah, I see.

I tried several different ways of pasting from the Copy-Bible-Verse tool (including different types of text, multiple verses and different copy styles) using ALT-P, and can never get it to minimize after pasting. So I don't know why/when it would happen for you sometimes.

Can you give an example of when it does minimize after pasting with this method?

But this hasn't been an issue for me.There doesn't seem to be an "always on top" feature for this window, so clicking anywhere on the Word window or Logos4 window, or on the appropriate icon on the Windows task-bar, causes the tool to go to the background anyway. Also, if you like to stick with the keyboard, ALT-TAB can quickly switch back to either the Word or Logos window; and CTRL-F4 will close it (standard Windows command).

Like I said, it just starts closing and I am thrilled, it is like my old Logos 3, all you had to do is hit enter once you had the verse window open and it pasted and the window went away.

Yestereday as I worked with Logos all day it did this for me, today, after leaving the program open all nigtht (as I always do) this morning it stopped minimizing for me - glitch?

I thought perhaps I had inadvertantly hit Alt (something) and it casued it to start closing for me!

Grrrrrrr.
