Recent Computer Crash

Hi Folks

My machine hit the dust quite recently with the result I lost quite a bit of material inclusing Logos 4.

Thankfully I do have a backup of all my books and files etc but where can I get a copy of Logos 4 to

start afresh again. This time I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate - any known problems?

Hi Gerald,

good to see that you are up and running again - I'd have problems with a number of things in your situation (seems I'm too lazy for regular backup), but not at all with Logos, since all data is over at their site: if the backup fails, it is A) installing L4, downloading resources and C) indexing only - which may take it's time, so the advice how to get around and maybe even C) is good.

I don't remember having read anything regarding Win 7 Ultimate (you may search the forum using google with site-restriction) and myself only use Win 7 Home Premium 32Bit - with no problems at all.

Thanks for your help. Up and running again. The download from Logos did take a long time.

Can one take a backup of all that was downloaded? Where can it all be found on the machine?

The default install location is C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Logos4 if you back that folder up you get all your books, documents, and indexes.

Keep in mind that the AppData folder is hidden so you'll need to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders in your folder options to navigate to it.
