Personal Books looks promising but I'm really looking for the reintroduction of the Sermon Addin. Is it coming now that Personal Books has arrived or am I missing that feature in the current Personal Books?
Scott -
The official word is that the sermon addin was to be replaced with the just released PBB (in 4.3) and with a yet-to-be-released website. I do not have any knowledge about the site or when it may go live. Sorry!
Tonya found the link for me. You can read more about this from Bob:
SermonFile is a harder problem, because we don't like the way we used to do it. People wanted to put too many too different documents into that system, so we're planning a completely different approach that's web oriented. (More http://books.logos.com with document uploading than 3.x SermonFile.) Part of SermonFile functionality will be taken over by a much better PBB tool, part by this new web solution, which is further out than Q2.

I just updated to 4.3. I discovered that I could add Word sermon files quickly into my personal book of sermons from the Gospel of John. I later did a basic search for John 6. Immediately my book of sermons was discovered. I can see myself doing this with sermons from various books and various themes. Thanks Logos!
I'm curious... what is it that the sermon add-in does more/better then PBB? (I do have and used to use it w/Libronix).
Immediately my book of sermons was discovered.
Welcome to the forums, Dr. Charles Wesley. I think I've heard of you [:)] Glad to hear of your successes with PBB!
The L3 version included the ability to do topical, date, and service time and location tagging. We've yet to see what the L4 sermon addin will do. As Alabama indicates, PBB takes up a large part of the slack but there is more to come with sermons in Logos 4.

Wonder if Headword tagging could be used for topics ?
Wonder about a Personal Book with table of sermon topics, titles, dates, services, and locations ?
Keep Smiling [:)]
