How do I filter my detailed library view based on the new library (resource) "Edition" field?
I may want to use this in writing dynamic collection rules as well!

You need to ensure that the "Edition" field is selected - right click on the header row in the Library
You can then click on the "Edition" header and it will filter by the three options.
At the moment you don't seem to be able to use it for defining Collection rules.

The Edition field is not available at this time. i requested that it be added here in this post http://community.logos.com/forums/t/36634.aspx
We're adding support for filtering/searching by "edition:" in 4.3 SR-1.
