Unable to SIgn in

When trying to "sign in" the wheel continues to turn with nothing happen. I've had the software for about a month, used it earlier today, and then all of a sudden tonight it wouldn't open. I've tried to read all the other posts even remotely touching on this issue and all I could come up with is to post the log file and hope someone out there can help.

I have tried repeatedly to reboot, with no success. Honestly cannot think what could have changed from earlier today till now.

Looking at Logos4.log contents noticed Logos 4.2b SR-2 version (4.22.5.1115) followed by "The database schema (6) is newer than the latest schema recognized by this code (5). The database cannot be opened."

Suggest manually updating Logos 4 Mac application to version 4.3 (should fix database schema error), can use wiki http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Update_Error steps (currently stable and beta download same 4.30.0.1517 version; suspect change coming in a few days).

By the way, wiki has http://wiki.logos.com/Using_the_Forum page (optionally can edit post to remove Logos4.log content lines).

Thanks...lets hope that works til the update...still not sure what happened between this afternoon and tonight that would make it do that, but I appreciate the encouragement to keep smiling for Jesus!

Wonder if dock icon was pointing to older Logos 4 Mac application ? (can right click dock icon, options => show in Finder)

I think youre right, cause when I did as you said above, the new download opened a new icon right next to the old one

Option: can right click on old dock icon => options => remove from dock. Then drag Logos Bible Software 4 from Applications folder (or your chosen installation folder) to dock.
